At the start of the contest, Surmire  was allowed to choose an item to aid them in surviving on the island. They chose a rope for its utility, but all that meant was that their predator had something to tie them up with when they caught them. Whoops!

Wayne  found themself stranded on a rock when the tide went in, leaving them too far from shore to swim back. One of the island predators, a large anthro shark, emerged from the water to offer them a ride back to land. Wayne  gratefully accepted... then the shark opened their jaws. Oh.

Starla made it through to the final round by teaming up with a predatory contestant and feeding them all the others on the island. Realising they were the last two the predatory contestant reached out to grab Starla, only for one of the island predators to eat them instead. Starla was the winner!

Voltage was feeling pretty confident after seeing how scrawny the island predators were and decided to pick a fight with the weakest one. The other contestants watched as the tiny predator turned the tables on Voltage and swallowed them whole before letting out a victorious belch.

Akira poked their head around the corner. "I think the coast is clear," they told the contestant they were hiding with, only to look over and find themselves bumping into a large gut, their fellow contestant's face bulging out from it. "Mmmh, seems clear to me~" the pred agreed with a gassy belch.

Charlene caught the eye of a hungry black panther while exploring the jungle, leaving them quickly getting pinned, pounced and devoured before they could even tell what was going on! The panther then climbed a nearby tree and rested with its full gut hanging between the branches.
